Our
Staff
Gary
Nicol Associates currently has a national field force of experienced
interview and mystery shopping staff available to undertake assignments.
As well, we are able to complete national surveys using our Christchurch and Wellington Call Centres. We also have a central office staff of two full time personnel and as required call upon the services of a well established network of specialist support services (e.g. computer services, data analysis, etc) who utilise state of the art technology. Gary
Nicol, BCom, ANZIM, AFAINZ, Grad Dip Lib, ALAA Gary
is a graduate in marketing and information science with wide practical
experience. Since
1969 he has been involved in marketing consulting, advertising,
accounting and publishing. He
has also managed the Christchurch office of SATIS which was a government
sponsored information service. Gary Nicol specialises in most aspects of
market research, marketing auditing and client service evaluation. Joanna
Milne, BA Joanna
is a freelance research consultant based in Wellington who is available
to work as part of Gary Nicol Associates. Since
1985 she has specialised in both qualitative and quantitative research
and has wide ranging experience particularly with focus group moderation
and face to face interviews. Joanna
has recently completed assignments for the following organisations:
State Services Commission, Inland Revenue Department, Land
Transport and Safety Authority, Westpac Banking Corporation, Work and
Income, Wellington City Council, Motorola (NZ) Ltd, New Zealand
Qualifications Authority, Tranz Rail New Zealand Ltd, and New Zealand
Post. Ray
Sleeman, MBA, B.Ed Ray
has more than 25 years experience in the leisure and tourism sectors as a
facility manager and management consultant.
His areas of specialization include business concept development,
feasibility studies, marketing audits, strategic business planning,
business performance evaluation, market research and best practice
assessment. In addition to consultancy and research projects, Ray also lectures in business planning/entrepreneurship and tourism at Lincoln University. He is a regular presenter on small business topics for the Ministry of Economic Development’s BIZ Seminar Programmes and is a mentor for the Business in the Community Programme.
Marivee McMath, BA, MA (Distinction) Marivee
has more than 37 years research experience and has an 18 year involvement
with Gary Nicol Associates. Her
areas of specialisation include qualitative research, community
consultation, cross-cultural research, literature reviews and application
of research analysis techniques to qualitative data. Research
interests and activities have included: Changing roles of women in
New Zealand, health and social change, spirituality and health in the
Pacific, community consultation in relation to planning and development,
history and ecology (Cook Islands), and involvement with musical
education, culture groups and language initiatives. |
